Recycled tin and mixed metal steampunk butterfly collar necklace

This pendant is a new look for the recycled tin line I call Trashy Tinsel.  No landing in the trash for this tin instead it has been upcycled to make this neck collar. The metals in the collar are copper and German silver.  The piece has been cold connected with rivets which add character to the design.  A blue butterfly from a candy tin makes up the central piece of this necklace.  The collar hangs from a bold copper chain which is finished with a two inch extension chain and a lobster clasp.

While I have made a number of steampunk breastplates this is the only one using this butterfly tin. No one else will have a piece exactly like this one.  Just not in my nature to do production work.  I enjoy the challenge of design too much.
