This tribal cuff is made by heating, forging, and folding copper sheetmetal. The end result is a very organic tribal cuff fitting for either a man or a woman. The cuff has for different compartments created by folding and each has been hammered or etched to create an interesting texture. The cuff has been antiqued to make the texturing pop.
I love fold forming because the organic nature of the metal comes to life when it is heated and forged. I am never quite sure of the outcome when I start a cuff, but I love going with the flow of the creative process so fold forming is perfect.
This cuff measures two and a quarter inches wide by about seven inches long. It would fit a wrist up to about nine and a half inches and could be made slightly smaller by squeezing the gap in the back. I am happy to take custom orders for smaller or larger arms.
